How To Choose Happy

 I believe that happiness is a choice. 


Of course, there will be days, events, moments, and people that will challenge that happiness, but it’s really up to us to take responsibility for our own contentment. Here are some simple ways to choose happy:

  • Choose to smile more often ~ A genuine smile makes you and everyone around you just feel better.

  • Choose to focus on what you have and not on what you don’t ~ Being thankful for all the blessings you already have in this life will bring you a deeper sense of happiness.

  • Choose to take care of your body ~ If your physical energy isn’t in good shape, then your mental, emotional, and spiritual energies will also be negatively affected.

  • Choose to surround yourself with the right people ~ Spend time with people you are proud to know and admire, and who love and respect you. Life’s too short to spend any of it with negative people who suck the happiness out of you.
