Happy Valentine’s Day!
Ok, so I realize that not EVERY one is down with Cupid’s holiday and in fact some actually dread it. I am one of the “other ones”, the ones who love LOVE and want to celebrate it every chance they get.
Call me corny, but I believe Valentine’s Day should be EVERY day. I don’t necessarily mean getting flowers, chocolates, candies or those adorable stuffed animals holding hearts that read “I love you this much” 365 days of the year (although I’d happily accept with open arms).
Whether you’re blessed with one super sweet, uber romantic, loving, not to mention handsome partner (in my case) who just adores you, respects you, would do anything for you and accepts you for YOU (even without a stitch of makeup on!) or simply lucky enough to have wonderful, inspiring, kindhearted people in your life, take a moment to think about them and be grateful.
Today is not just for the lovers. Instead, try thinking of February 14th just as a blatant reminder to be thankful for ALL the love we have in our lives.
And whether or not you’re celebrating today, just remember… YOU are loved. Every day.
Keep it shiny,
